Premium sport seats emphasize wraparound support, body-hugging form and sculpted surfaces. Higher bolsters and more complex curves also place greater demands on upholstery during stretching, rebound and long-term use.

DreboundaM™ hot laminated foam starts from the material structure beneath the upholstery. It combines the tensile and shape-stabilizing function of fiber with the soft cushioning of foam, creating a more stable flexible support layer for highly contoured seats.

Sport-seat cushions and backrests often feature more pronounced side bolsters, more curvature changes and tighter transitions. Without stable support underneath, upholstery can loosen locally after repeated loading, affecting surface flatness and long-term perceived quality.

Hot laminated foam is not simply “one more soft layer.” It is a functional layer between upholstery and the seat-foam structure, balancing shape stability, soft touch and reliable lamination.

THREE-LAYER STRUCTURE

Three layers, each with a clear role

The fiber layer stabilizes, the foam layer cushions, and the adhesive web connects.

  • Fiber web layer: a continuous network formed by interlocked fibers provides tensile and dimensional stability, helping upholstery remain flat on complex surfaces.
  • 5mm high-density foam: improves touch and cushioning while keeping total thickness under control, reducing the harsh impression of underlying structures.
  • White hot-melt adhesive web: forms an even bonding interface when heated, supporting stable lamination while avoiding the stiffness of a continuous glue film.

Turning material performance into seating experience

Working together, the three layers follow seat geometry while retaining support, helping upholstery maintain cleaner lines and a more structured appearance.

For side bolsters, shoulders and thigh-support areas that experience repeated pressure, stretching and friction, the structure helps distribute local stress, lower wrinkle risk and preserve the softer feel needed during seating.
