MAGICOUSTICS® acoustic noise-reduction materials

MAGICOUSTICS® is an IVOSAC registered trademark for acoustic noise-reduction materials. IVOSAC develops functional foams and composite structures for absorption, insulation, vibration damping, sealing and comfort.

ACOUSTIC ENGINEERING

Noise control is more than adding thickness.

Different noises have different frequency ranges and transmission paths. A material solution needs to balance cell structure, density, thickness, airflow resistance, resilience, available space and lamination method.

01

Engine-compartment noise reduction

Powertrain operation creates combustion, mechanical, vibration and airflow noise.

Materials used around the engine compartment, hood and insulation pads need to combine absorption, insulation, damping and environmental durability within limited space.

Tire noise reduction and tire acoustic foam

Air inside a tire may create cavity resonance and transmit noise into the cabin through the tire, wheel and suspension path.

Foam installed on the tire inner liner uses porous structures to absorb part of the sound energy and improve target-frequency cavity noise.

Consumer acoustic foam for speakers, earphones and monitoring rooms

For speakers, earphones, monitoring rooms and other consumer acoustic settings, foam structures need to balance absorption, isolation, resonance control and tactile comfort.

By tuning porosity, density, thickness and surface geometry, the material helps manage mid-to-high frequency reflections, local resonance and wearing or installation experience.

MATERIAL SYSTEM

From single foam to composite acoustic structures

Practical acoustic products often rely on coordinated layers rather than one material alone.

  • Porous foam layer
  • Fiber absorption layer
  • Insulation or damping layer
  • Surface protection layer
  • Adhesive film or backing
  • Custom composite structure

Reduce noise. Add experience.

MAGICOUSTICS® is about more than a noise-reduction number. It is about how material enters a product structure and balances acoustic performance, comfort, weight, durability and manufacturing efficiency.

APPLICATION SUPPORT

Start with the noise scenario.

Engine compartments, tire acoustic foam, consumer acoustic foam, interior acoustic materials, monitoring-room absorption materials and custom composite structures can all begin from a sample, target performance or production condition.
